ARTISAN, HANDWOVEN, CHANGABLE AND INDIVIDUAL STATEMENT JACKETS FOR UNIQUE WOMEN
At VÄV, we’re committed to delivering unique, stylish and beautiful experiences through our versatile, changeable jackets, Each piece we create is a blend of artisan craftsmanship and the personal story you write every time you wear it.
We want our jackets to empower you- to make you feel unique, stylish and free. Designed to adapt to your life, rather than the other way around, our innovative design system allows you to update and personalize your jacket whenever you choose.
VÄV is a socially conscious, slow fashion brand that values the craftsmanship of human hands over machines. We work woman to woman to create jackets that will accompany you through countless experiences, memories and stories.
We cherish the individuality of each person, which is why we offer exclusive, limited- edition drops, making you one of the few persons who will be able to wear that exact same style.
VÄV is the Swedish word for “weave” or “fabric,” reflecting both the handwoven essence of our brand and the connection between ancient craftsmanship and contemporary urban life.
ABOUT THE FOUNDER
Emma Bogren is a Swedish fashion designer who has called Barcelona home since 2004.
Driven by a strong passion for fashion and design, she pursued a BA in Fashion & Textile Design at the Istituto Europeo di Design, where her thesis project was recognized as one of the most outstanding of her class.
Her career began with design roles at renowned international brands such as Lacoste, Armand Basi, Massimo Dutti, and the Canadian lifestyle label David Bitton in Montreal.
However, after several years in the industry, Emma became increasingly aware of the fashion world's environmental and social impact. Realizing that the industry's values no longer aligned with her own, she made the decision to create her own path.
Today, she channels her vision into her own brand—blending artisanal traditions with contemporary design. Her signature jackets reflect a fusion of craftsmanship, sustainability, and a deep commitment to meaningful, conscious fashion.
