WHERE LUXURY MEETS FAIR TRADE ARTISANAL TRADITIONS

We have partnered with Cojolya, an association born in 1983 located in Santiago Atitlán, Sololá, in Guatemala. The organization works with talented Mayan-Indigenous weavers to create exceptional, complex textiles on the traditional backstrap loom.

Cojolya is a member of the World Fair Trade Organization, reassuring that the artisans are treated with Fair Trade rractices, receive a fair pay, ensures that there is no child labor or forced labor, respect the environment and have good working conditions, among many other principles.

Cojolya was initially created to help provide a secure income for women and today, 30 of the 35 artisans in the organization, are women.
